CAD export

If CAD data is available for products, the ‘CAD’ button is visible on the product detail page. If there is no button, then no CAD data can be exported.

If you have selected products for which we cannot provide CAD data in the shopping cart, in the parts list or in ‘My account’ for the CAD export, a corresponding info message will be displayed 1.

To export the CAD data on the product detail page, click on the ‘CAD’ button 1.

The CAD export window opens. Here you can select the CAD data format that you need 2. Then click on the download button 3. For configurable items, follow the further steps under ‘CAD export with configurable models’.

You can export our CAD data directly from your shopping cart. To do this, select the desired positions 1 and then click on the ‘Export as CAD’ button 2.

If you want to export CAD data for the entire shopping cart, click on the ‘Entire shopping cart …’ button 3 and select ‘Export as CAD’ 4.

The CAD export window opens. Here you can select the CAD data format that you need 5. Then click on the download button 6. For configurable items, follow the further steps under ‘CAD export with configurable models’.

You can export the appropriate CAD data from your parts lists at any time. To do this, select the desired positions 1 and then click on the ‘Export as CAD’ button 2.

If you want to export CAD data for the entire parts list, click on the ‘Parts lists’ button 3 and select ‘Export as CAD’ 4.

You can also export the CAD data for your items from your orders. To do this, select the desired positions 1 and then click on the ‘Export as CAD’ button 2.

If you want to export CAD data for the entire order, click on the ‘Entire order …’ button 3 and select ‘Export as CAD’ 4.

Our CAD export with configurable models helps you designing our items for your project and installing the component correctly. However, the adjustments only affect the CAD export and not the item itself.

In the CAD export process for configurable models (if available for your selected item), you first have to define the parameters for the item. On the left-hand side is the live 3D model 1, which adjusts as soon as a parameter is changed. Below is a dimensional drawing of the item 2. The parameters specified in the dimensional drawing can be adjusted on the right 3.

If available, you can also select whether installation spaces should be generated 4. To proceed to the download, select ‘Save and continue’ 5.

In the second step, you can select the CAD data format that you need 6. Then click on the download button 7.
