Reliable components
The wide range of components offers suitable solutions for a variety of requirements. Thanks to their low coefficient of friction, DLC coated components minimise particle abrasion and allow them to be used without lubricants. Stainless steel components are notable for their high corrosion resistance. High-grade steel and low-leakage temperature regulation components are also available, minimising the risk of leaks and ensuring reliable, clean operation.
DLC-coated
DLC coated components reduce friction and wear, ensuring long-lasting, reliable motion sequences. From guides and ejectors to ready-to-use slide units, Meusburger offers a wide range of products for a variety of applications.
Corrosion-resistant
Corrosion resistant components help to minimise corrosion and contamination within the mould – ensuring that moulds remain clean and reliable over the long term.
Low-leakage
Low-leakage components minimise the risk of uncontrolled leakage of liquids and ensure clean, safe processes.
Servo-electric
Electric drive technology enables precise and controlled movements within the mould – ensuring clean processes with high repeatability.
Mould monitoring
With mould monitoring components, mould conditions, part quality and processes can be reliably checked. This enables deviations to be detected at an early stage and ensures a consistently high part quality.
Our highlights
Corrosion resistant plates
Corrosion resistant materials form an important basis for applications in cleanrooms. Meusburger offers a range of plates and bars made from corrosion-resistant tool steels, available from stock – to meet a variety of requirements in terms of hardness, machinability and surface quality.
The materials 1.2083 (ESR), 1.2085 and 1.2316 are particularly suitable for cleanroom applications thanks to their high chromium content and excellent corrosion resistance.
1.2083 (ESR/H) steel for through hardening
1.2083 is available in both conventional and ESR variants. As a material suitable for hardening, it only achieves its corrosion resistance once it has been hardened. 1.2083 is used where hardness and corrosion resistance are required; the ESR variant is also used for items subject to heavy loads or where high standards of surface quality are required.
1.2085 Tool steel
1.2085 is a material that has been hardened and tempered, and it is characterised by good machinability due to its sulphur content. It is particularly suitable for mould making. At Meusburger, complete mould bases can also be assembled from 1.2085.
1.2316 Tool steel
1.2316 is a material that has been hardened and tempered, and it exhibits good properties for demanding surfaces. Due to its moderate machinability, 1.2085 is usually used for the mould base; for demanding surfaces, 1.2316 is used.
Precision hot runner components
Valve gate systems and their components are laid out for demanding cleanroom applications and enable the feed points to be opened and closed with precision. This allows for high numbers of cavities and short injection cycles, whilst the defined gate supports the precise manufacturing of high-quality plastic parts. Pneumatically actuated systems also enable oil-free operation, thereby reducing the risk of contamination – an important prerequisite for controlled and reliable cleanroom processes.
