In practice what often occurs: conventional elbow fittings quickly reach their limits. Brass as a material, low flow rates, sensitive seals and hexagon sockets as well as hollow bolts with low load-bearing capacity often lead to breakages – resulting in time-consuming clean-up and expensive production downtimes.
The Meusburger elbow fittings offer a reliable solution. They were developed based on specific customer requests and are tailored to the requirements of mould making. The different variants of elbow fittings also offer a high degree of design flexibility. This means they can be optimally adapted to the respective application and integrated flexibly into existing systems.

Our elbow fittings from high grade stainless steel feature flow-optimised geometry and offer up to 80% more flow rate than conventional connections. This ensures efficient temperature regulation and maximum process reliability.
The hollow bolt has a particularly robust design and features a deep hexagon socket – ideal for repeated assembly and disassembly. High-temperature O-ring seals for up to 200 °C are integrated as standard, and the short mounting threads offer additional design freedom.
A further advantage: the entire assembly is pre-assembled and ready to use, so that it can be installed immediately without any additional steps.

Cooling hoses are attached to the extension nipples, which through dynamic movement exert a great amount of force on the extensions. Particularly at the end of the thread, with stress concentration at the smallest cross-section, a weak point can form which can easily break. The elbow fitting E 20870 solves this problem with a support section directly in front of the thread, to help avoid breakages at the extension nipples.

The elbow fitting E 20871 features a short design and is available in two variations: type A with a particularly compact design and type B with a raised design, ideal when more space is required, such as in combination with a temperature regulation circuit coupler. Combined with the extension E 20830 the connection can also be mounted at a higher position. So you benefit from maximum design flexibility.

Elbow fitting for cooling bridge E 20900
The elbow fitting for cooling bridges features a compact and robust design with full flow rate. Thanks to the simple milled groove in the plate it can also be completely recessed – for a clean and space-saving solution.
