Advantages of our standardised slide units
- Cost reduction and time savings in design and production
- Quick availability, especially for replacement and wear parts
- Perfectly matched components
- CAD data including installation spaces are immediately available
How to correctly determine the slide stroke
- Define the minimum slide stroke required based on the part’s geometry
- Select the length of the inclined pin to match the undercut (1)
- Set the stroke of the slide by adjusting the position of the slide stopper
Dimension X depends on the type of slide stopper, the length and the position tolerances of the inclined pin.
High-alloy hot-work steel as a material for slide units
Our most commonly used slide material, 1.2343 ESR, combines the best properties for your design.
This material stands out for:
- high wear resistance
- good high-temperature resistance
- good toughness
- high compressive strength
- high surface quality when polishing
Safe demoulding of internal undercuts
With our compact slide unit for internal undercuts E 3335, you gain greater design freedom as it operates independently of the ejector set, whilst minimising the risk of component damage during ejection. Thanks to the DLC coating, wear is reduced to a minimum and optimum sliding properties are guaranteed.
Smallest design, ready to use
The slide unit E 3310 stands out for its simple mounting and removal of all components from the split line face.
It guarantees maximum force transmission thanks to the surface contact in the T-guides between slide and cotter, and, thanks to its size, is also suitable for even the smallest applications.
The high wear resistance and low-friction properties of the DLC coating ensure long-term, reliable operation.
Perfect cooling from end to end
Our exclusive, cooled compact slide unit E 3380 improves the quality of your moulded parts and achieves shorter cycle times. You benefit from easy mounting and removal from the split line face, as well as maximum force transmission thanks to the surface contact between slide and cotter.
Your overview
With a large selection, you can sometimes lose track. That is why we have created an overview for you, where you can find all the necessary information, such as the size of the slide surface, the coating of the sliding surface and the maximum stroke, at a glance.
