Wide range of possibilities
Our standard bars (width/length sawn with allowance +4/+6 mm, thickness with segment ground allowance +0.40/+0.45 mm) can be selected in lengths 300, 500, 800 and 1200 mm and in many designs up to 800 mm width. The precision bars are also available in various dimensions and steel grades from stock. In contrast to the standard bars, the width of the precision bars is also parallel-milled to tight tolerances. In addition you will find round bars for inserts and cores, for cutting elements as well as for machine and jig construction in various lengths from 16 to 1500 mm in our range. You can also order already hardened round bars from stock.

High-quality bars with low deformation
To achieve the best quality, we rely not only on the precise in-house production of our plates and bars, but also on our own furnaces with a total capacity of 240 tonnes. Through the stress-relieving heat treatment we guarantee low deformation subsequent machining of bars. Hard points in the microstructure are eliminated, avoiding the risk of abrupt tool breakages. Even before the stress-relieving heat treatment, we subject the heavy plates to spectral analysis and a strength test to ensure we supply the best raw materials. We also use one of the most accurate measuring devices on the market for the final quality check.

Our large standard parts warehouse is located at our headquarters in Austria. Like all items from the range, the bars are also picked in the shortest possible time and sent to customers via optimally networked logistic partners. This means that Meusburger can guarantee the shortest possible lead times – even for configurable custom widths. The parallel ground thickness of the bars makes the subsequent machining both cost-effective and fast. That means you don’t loose any time and can implement your projects as quickly as possible.
