Keeping up with the times through strong partners

Through targeted cooperation with associations and institutions such as the VDWF, the SKZ and the WBA in German-speaking countries, we keep up with the times, promote professional exchange, and drive forward future-oriented solutions together with experts.

Our industry thrives on innovation, know-how and strong cohesion. As an industry leader and expert in mould and die making, it is particularly important to us to play an active role in shaping the future. Professional dialogue with experts and the joint development of future-oriented solutions are essential. That is why we rely on targeted cooperation with renowned associations and institutions, e.g. the Association of German Tool and Mould Makers (VDWF), the Plastics Centre (SKZ) and the WBA Tooling Academy, and implement specific projects to keep up with the times.

VDWF – Exchange of knowledge as the key to success

A central element of our cooperation with the Association of German Tool and Mould Makers is our involvement in the marketing manager meetings. These are managed by our head of marketing, who uses this platform to pass on his experience and know-how. Strategies, trends and best practices are also regularly shared and discussed. This way, we specifically promote the exchange of knowledge, strengthen our networking, and support companies in increasing their visibility and competitiveness.

The VDWF brings companies together, promotes exchange and offers practical training opportunities.

Meusburger has been a reliable partner to the VDWF and to me personally for decades now. They are always there if something comes up. Together, we put our heart and soul into advocating our industry, not only in working groups such as the marketing manager meetings, but also at trade fairs, industry meetings or professional events. This commitment even transcends national borders,’ explains Ralf Dürrwächter, managing director of the VDWF, enthusiastically.

SKZ – Practice-oriented solution support guide for injection moulders

Together with the Plastics Centre, we have created the solution support guide for injection moulders, a practical guide to identifying, rectifying and avoiding injection moulding errors. This cooperation emphasises our claim to provide not only products, but also valuable knowledge to ensure greater efficiency and quality in production.

The SKZ is one of the leading competence centres for research, training, examination and certification in plastics technology. We are pleased to be able to make their know-how available to our customers.

What astonishes me is how many national and international injection moulding companies are already using the solution support guide for problem solving. The little booklet is used by all kinds of people, from trainees to professionals, from designers to machine setters, and helps to improve the quality of the injection moulded parts. The cooperation between Meusburger and the SKZ is really beneficial to the industry,’ says Bernhard Hennrich, group leader for research and development in injection moulding at the SKZ.

WBA – Leading indicator for the industry

The regularly published Market Barometer Index is a milestone in our collaboration with the WBA Tooling Academy. It provides valuable insights into current market developments and thus helps companies in the mould and die making industry to identify trends at an early stage and make informed decisions.

The WBA Tooling Academy is an important partner for the further development of the industry and combines research, industrial applications and further training so that the mould and die making industry is fit to face the future.
