Fakuma 2026: a look at the highlights

Five days packed with innovations, fascinating discussions and personal encounters are behind us. At Fakuma 2026 in Friedrichshafen, we showcased our solutions for mould, die, and jigs and fixtures construction, with high-quality products and digital applications and also practical demonstrations. Our trade fair stand was well attended, and our company tours in Wolfurt were fully booked. We look back on a successful week at the trade fair, with many interesting encounters and new momentum.

From high-quality standard components to digital solutions

There was plenty to discover at our exhibition stand: visitors were able to try out our Meusburger portal and the CAD tool for themselves, experience our new servo-electric drive first-hand on the powerMOVE, and watch a live demonstration of welding work at the demonstration counter to see the individual steps involved.

With our latest campaign on cleanroom technology, we also demonstrated how perfectly aligned components support cleanroom applications. The focus was on solutions meeting high standards of cleanliness, quality and process reliability, such as those required in the medical, packaging and food processing industries.

AI meets expertise: Our troubleshooting guide in ENGEL EVA

Together with the SKZ – German Plastics Center, we are contributing our know-how on mould technology, injection moulding defects and their rectification to the ENGEL Virtual Assistant (EVA). The AI-powered assistance solution helps users to analyse typical defects such as sink marks, weld lines, warping or burr forming, and to identify appropriate corrective measures. This means our know-how is available directly at the machine, helping to resolve defects more efficiently and maintain stable production processes.

From prototype to series production

Together with Jell GmbH & Co. KG, we demonstrated on an ENGEL injection moulding machine how precision standard parts and optimally matched hot-runner systems contribute to stable and cost-effective production processes. High quality DACLIPA bag clips were produced, the development of which, from prototype to reliable series production, was achieved in close cooperation. Visitors were able to not only experience the production of the clips directly at the trade fair stand, but also take them home as a gift.

Personal interactions – at the trade fair and in Wolfurt

Numerous discussions with customers, partners and prospective clients made Fakuma a valuable opportunity for sharing expertise with others from the branch and exploring new ideas. Our company tours at the headquarters in Wolfurt were also fully booked. Visitors were given an insight into our production, our warehouse and the processes that ensure the quality and availability of our products. At our stand party on Thursday evening, we finished up the trade fair together in a relaxed atmosphere.
