On October 31, 2017, the 500th Reformation Day will be celebrated in Germany with a nation-wide, non-working holiday. There is a truck driving ban from 12 a.m. to 10 p.m. which is valid nationwide this year. In addition, in many Catholic German states November 1st is also a non-working holiday.
Germany has a dense transportation network and serves as an international transfer point due to its central position.
Therefore this holiday has a strong impact on freight transport throughout Europe. We ask for your understanding in case of delivery delays in calendar week 44.

In addition, depending on the country and the shipping method there are extended order times. This is clearly displayed in the graphic.
