Digital applications in the production process
Many companies are already using digital systems, particularly in production analyses: around 32% of those surveyed stated that they were active in this area. Digital solutions are currently used much less frequently for service life and wear forecasts (10%). There is clearly more potential for future developments here.
Spare parts management in the digital transformation
The digital approach is also becoming increasingly important in mould and die maintenance or in case of breakages. The majority of companies organise spare parts via parts lists or design documents (40%), while around a third already process orders directly via an online portal, such as our Meusburger portal.

These results reflect what we are also observing: the digital world is becoming a matter of course. For some time now more than 60% of customer orders have been placed online. This not only speeds up the ordering process, but also allows it to be seamlessly integrated into our customers’ digital infrastructure. Thanks to end-to-end digital processes and optimally networked departments, we can respond quickly, transparently and efficiently to our customers’ needs. Data and processes are monitored digitally, which means more reliable supply chains for you. You also save time thanks to automated processes and transparent portal functions.
Conclusion
The Market Barometer Index clearly shows: digitalisation has long ceased to be a thing of the future and is now a decisive success factor. Companies that make targeted use of digital solutions create the basis for greater efficiency, stability and future-proofing – a path that we continue to pursue and on which we will continue to support our customers with our digital solutions.
