NEW from Meusburger: tunnel gate inserts for large contour steps

You can save time and costs along the entire production process from design to manufacturing with the use of tunnel gate inserts. The expert in standard components Meusburger has recently expanded its range with two new versions especially for large contour steps.

Tunnel gate inserts with so-called 'banana geometries' are the ideal solution for hidden gate marks. Such a geometry allows the injection of the plastic part from the bottom of the component. In addition an exact tear of the sprue is guaranteed by the clearly defined tear edge. The high surface quality enables very good flow properties and therefore highest process safety during the injection moulding process.

With the special tunnel geometries of the new E 1693 and E 1694 Tunnel gate inserts from Meusburger, additional fields of application are created. Through these geometries, tunnel gates with large contour steps can be quickly and easily manufactured. With the 'E 1693 Tunnel gate insert for high-level contours' the gating point of the moulded part can be behind a step or fillet or above the split line face. The E 1694 'Tunnel gate insert, low-level contour' enables gating below the split line face.

The CAD data can be downloaded via the digital catalogues with just a few clicks. As usual with Meusburger the new tunnel gate inserts are available from stock.
