OUR TRAINING CONCEPT
The training lasts 3 or 3.5 years. The apprentices go through a dual system. In addition to the in-company training they attend vocational schools, mostly one day per week or in the form of intensive courses of approx. 10 weeks per year. At Meusburger we rely on a modular training concept. First our apprentices learn the basic skills of conventional machining, then they are trained in special skills and after that they are allowed to work in different departments. The concept integrates the incorporation into the future workplace – that is, the desired specialist area – at the end of the training time, and thorough preparation for the final examination.
In addition to the hard skills, we also attach great value to the promotion of personal skills. Ongoing support measures and evaluations also effectively provide for our outstanding training quality. At the end of the training, all our apprentices are offered permanent employment, laying the foundation for their specialist and management career.
15 professionally educated trainers who are dedicated to the training and development of our apprentices, and the continuous investment in machinery and tools enable a high quality of apprentice training. Our training concept was confirmed several times by different awards. In addition, we are always pleased about the participation of our apprentices in competitions and well-earned acknowledgements.
